okay. today...... went national lib w nessa and sim sim. to do our STUPID RETARDED PROJECT. omg i hope no tchr will visit my blog n c this. i'm so sry if dey did but hey, it's MY blog aft all. :)

lol. ok ok. lets start w d story. ok i brought my sch bag cos i tot nessa's laptop cable cldnt fit but in the end she brought another bag. but she was carrying her laptop in her arms so i like pity her (not rly, jus tt i wanted my big bag to b of use.) n put in my bag lor. i met them at amk hub. n sim sim tripped on th way out. :X lol. ok den on my dad's car, we talked abt STUFF. lol n it seemed like it took a real short time to get thr. lol. den we went thr, i was kinda freaked out, cos it was freaking quiet. like eerily. o-o yar. den we couldnt find a seat. n we found LOTS n LOTS of humongous books. humongous like, i can use them for weight lifting. lol ok mayb as compared to th gym's, th lightest weight. LOL!!! yar aft tt we spent arnd 3 hrs in d lib (i DO NOT wish to tok abt th details of our dumb proj.), we went to bugis junction to buy food. as alw, i tempted sim sim, who tempted nessa to go to breadtalk to buy... BREAD!!! LOL. ok den we walked to beard papa thingy i seriously dk d name of th shop. n nessa bought her mum's food (i forgot wad they were...) thr. lol. den went to mrt station, got into th cramped train, alighted at the next stop (city hall) aft saying bye to sim sim, n seeing d nxt train, i grabbed nessa's hand n ran for it! d train i mean. lol. n we somehow managed to squeeze in. :D fun! 

n we talked abt stuff till we reached amk. n i was on my way home when i realized... why's my bag still so heavy? den. great. shoot. pang. faint. nessa left her laptop w me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!! lol. ok. so i was halfway to my hse n den i walked bck all th way, gave it back to her, n walked back home again. i went bck home n my entire back was wet. -.- lol it was my fault though. :X

lols ok. den came home, immediately on com. :) until now. 4 hrs. :) :) :) :) :) haha finished loading ler. cya peeps. :D

okay. erm. day before ytd was my mum's bdae.

well i wanted to cook lunch n breakfast for her but then well, i screwed up. =.= lol.

i didnt wake up in time to make breakfast. lol.

den for lunch.... 

erm.... well i wanted to cook porridge all that then my mum kip scolding me then i was kinda pissed so i dun care liao den go play my games. lol. sorry lah. but yar. wateva. 

den she took us out for dinner. :) finally. LOL i like v bad. lol okay. she took us to sum steamboat buffet thingy at d novena there. was quite ex lar. 4 ppl eat 1 dinner $90. O_O 12 year old oso counted as adult. O_O lol. ok. so to make everything worth it, we took as much as we could. LOL jkjk. i eat a little bit then full liaos. ok lar there the food quite nice. me n my bro kip take our own stuff den nev help my mum n dad take. :X lol den aft tt i felt guilty den go help them take drinks. haha. got alot of things to eat, then d place quite nice, jus tt when first entered d supposedly air-conditioned room, it was freaking hot. lol. warmer then outside lor. d steamboat thing got chicken soup n tom yam soup. lol my parents drank d tom yam one. :P cos it was freaking spicy la. :( i drink like 1 sip nia den cough le. ate alot of prawns n stuff. like my most fav, jin zhen gu! :) sum golden mushroom thingy idk wat its called in eng. lol. erm... cos like i eat alot of prawn n stuff den yi xia zi jiu very full liao. ok la not yi xia zi. more like half an hour. :P aft i v full liao, i didnt eat anything much ler den kip drink d soup lor. :) v nice. :) yar den my bro went out to take ice cream. it was d scoop kind put inside bowl der. lol. den d scoop was v interesting. :) i scoop d ice cream like rly a scoop, like a ball liddat. but my bro, obviously nev use b4, (although i oso nev use b4) go scoop d chocolate ice cream till it looked like... u know wad. LOL! i got d photo. i'll post it up sum time ltr, cos i lost my thumbdrive. lols. ok back to the dinner. umm. yeah. i kip drop chopstick n d ladle thingy. den i went to the sink there abt 4 times. lmao. den abt 8 plus we went home. i was extremely bloated lorh. :X 

ok. so.. ytd... nth much. watched hot shot for half of the day. :P

today... hmm... play com lorh. watch tv. yeah. den jus now did alot of fb quiz. den now blogging. so yeah. :) idk wad to write ler. so cya ppl! :):):):)

now. wat abt my mum's birthday? oh great. my mind's a total blank. how should i help her celebrate? n wonderfully, my bro has o lvl on tt day. so can only at a specific time which i dunno when. i dun even noe wat time my bro's o lvls are. ._. okay. normally my mum's birthday, we will hav like kfc, pizza or watever. hey. like so sian lar. every year the same... i feel like whipping up a feast for her this year.. but right,our house also dun hav oven or watsoever, cnt bake cake all that. n got so many things to consider.. my mum doesnt like too oily stuff, too sweet stuff, in case she gets fatter than she already is. ._. SRP project scope:
our project is focused on clothes. we can choose from these few options:
1. why clothes shrink in warm water
2.why clothes fade in warm water or in the sun (we can see which one works better)
3.what dyes are able to bond better with certain fabrics and vice versa
4.what components in bleach cause certain materials or dyes to corrode faster than when washed or soaked in water

here are some information i found from the internet.

This is for 1. :

It is the heat & the agitation. wool shrinks due to the agitation in the washer and the dryer. the wool gets 'felted' and becomes denser. cotton is also affected by the agitation because the thread that cloth is woven or knitted from has been stretched. bouncing around in the washer or dryer will cause fibers to contract, especially cheaper fabrics which were stretched more.

cotton, canvas, denim & linen have a very tight weave, and when they become wet & heat dried, cotton fibers tend to tighten up and shrink. certain 100% artificial materials like acrylic, lycra, neoprene and spandex are pretty weak in their structure and will simply degrade or melt when dried at too high a temperature. hemp, polyster, rayon, nylon and vinyl are much more durable and will not shrink.

the use of cotton in t-shirts means that they will shrink slightly if there is a high percentage of cotton in the shirt. cotton shrinks when it is exposed to heat for any length of time. by washing the clothes in warm or hot water, t-shirts and other items are exposed to hot water for a prolonged period of time. Also, drying clothes can be another source of heat exposure. the heat from the dryer causes a great deal of cotton shrinkage. this happens because the heat of a dryer is intense and prolonged. a complete dryer cycle may take an hour or longer, exposing the t-shirt and other items to a very long period of heat. line drying on a hot day may also cause cotton to shrink. the heat from the sun will act on the water in the shirt, heating it up and causing the natural shrinking of cotton.
